During your initial visit with us, we’ll examine your teeth, perform an oral cancer screening, review necessary x-rays and make an assessment of your oral condition. If it should be discovered that you need dental treatment, a treatment plan and estimate will be prepared for you prior to beginning any procedures. Please feel free to discuss any concerns regarding your dental care.
For those patients who are extremely anxious about dental care, we are able to provide IV sedation, anti-anxiety medication (you will need to have someone else drive), nitrous oxide or possibly a combination of medications. Our goal is to make your visit as relaxed and pleasant as possible.
You will find that we have taken great care to provide you with a comprehensive website filled with a great deal of information. This will enable you to understand how our practice functions. Included within the website are forms that can be printed and filled out prior to your first visit with us. These forms include: the medical history form, the patient registration form and the practice privacy form. As a courtesy, if you have dental insurance, we will file your claim with all of the supporting documentation required by your primary dental carrier. Any reimbursement will come directly from the insurance company to the insured. Completing the new patient forms and bringing them with you will help to save time during your first visit.
